After the release of yesterday's marketing poster, Creed II  launched the official second trailer for the film. Starring Michael B. Jordan  (Adonis) and reappearance of Rocky Balboa from the Rocky movie franchise, played by Sylvester Stallone.

The movie's storyline is formatted and stems from the Rocky movies but instead, Creed and Creed II is about the late boxing legend Apollo Creed's son. Apollo was a character in one of the Rocky films. In Creed II, Apollo's son Adonis Creed is gearing up to avenge his father in a boxing match with the son of Ivan Drago, Viktor Drago played by Florian Munteanu.

Creed II's trailer details Adonis preparing for the fight of his lifetime, facing one of his biggest challenges that will change and propel him into the man he will become. And also, facing the demons of his father's past to liberate his father's estate and family's name. In Creed II's, Adonis is not only fighting for himself and his father, Adonis is fighting for the family he has now created. The pressure is on with his pregnant girlfriend played by Tessa Thompson and a baby on the way. His mother played by Phylicia Rashad, reminds Adonis it's not just about him anymore. That he is now a man with responsibilities.

Sylvester Stallone's character's Rocky Balboa is training Adonis Creed, in an effort to mentally and physically equip him for this fight. The trailer illustrates some of Balboa's history with the Dragos and how Adonis' fight with Viktor is also about him. Rocky is facing his own demons from the past, Ivan Drago played by Dolph Lundgren to finally claim victory, and find closure in the midst of what happened between Apollo and Ivan.

Creed II is directed by Steven Caple Jr. and written by Sylvester Stallone and Cheo Hodari Coker. The film also stars: Wood Harris, Andre Ward and Russell Hornsby.

The trailer can be viewed below and Creed II will be in theaters nationwide on November 21.
