Meek Mill Takes The Cake for The 2016 Billboard's Top Rap Album Award

Posted On: May 23, 2016

Last night at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, Meek Mill reminded his fans and those who doubted him how an 'L' is nothing more than a 'ladder' for him to climb the charts, when he took the number one spot for the Top Rap Album award.

Despite his house arrest which limits his movements, Meek's last album "Dreams Worth More Money"  continues to move units and the streets are still plugged to it.

With Drake being part of the list for his album "If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late" and having one of Hip Hop's most memorable beef with Meek, the MMG soldier came though like a bo$$.

Kendrick Lamar was also on the list for "To Pimp A Butterfly," Dr. Dre's "Compton" and Drake & Future's "What a Time to Be Alive."

Hmmm, that's a heavyweight list because all those album are well produced including Meek's. Congrats to Meek for holding his head up, not folding under pressure but finding the strength to evolve into a diamond to get his shine on, and coming out on the other side unscathed.

So, throwin' it back from one of Meek's bangers 'Ima Bo$$' featuring Rick Ross, is only right for his celebratory win!
