The Only Supermoon for 2017 - Gemini Full Moon

Posted On: December 02, 2017

Full Moon SuperMoon (Dec 3) in Gemini is prismatic with information, able to shapeshift into multiple expressions. Not an easy path to discern. Best not to get swept up with the tides of misinformation, instead ground into your own center and listen deeply to your Soul. With Mercury just having turned retrograde, there is much to reflect on. This a healing time as well as a time of self-mastery where we have an opportunity to cleanse our perceptions and open up to a new way. Time to upgrade our thinking and remember that we are free to perceive our experience in what ever way we choose. We are powerful beyond measure. Trust in your process and trust in your heart.

Pam Younghans says,

"Depending on which direction we choose to look we can feel profound inspiration and hope or great frustration and disillusionment. Since both Saturn and Mercury are at the same degree as the Galactic Center, this alignment indicates an opportunity for a major reset. This is a time when we can take significant steps in releasing old patterns that have blocked our progress.”

Leah Whitehorse says,

“This big bright supermoon occurs on a day supercharged with astrological activity..Fact and fiction are blended, shaken and stirred and served with a slice of sleight of hand.. Neptune’s confusing vibration can sometimes make us feel weak or defeated before we even start… If you feel confused, stand still, tune into your heart… Let the distraction of the world fall away until you can hear your own inner dialogue..No matter how strange these times are, remember you have a direct line to the cosmos.”

Divine Harmony shares,

"The last Full Moon of 2017 is going out with a bang! …bringing into the full Light of consciousness information, communication, ideas and thinking that needs to be seen for what it is...”

“It’s so important right now karmically to be honest, direct and clear- with ourselves and with others.” Jessica Shepherd says, it’s an “opportunity to catch our awareness mid-stream, to observe how we are deluding or deceiving our self through wrong stories, false perceptions. Astrologer Steven Forrest calls this Neptunian process ‘cleaning the windows’. By becoming aware of what’s obscuring our windows (wrong perceptions), we discover clarity, truth, oneness.”

28 Year Old Breaking Grounds In STEM Field and Research

Posted On: March 16, 2015

STEM is the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education, it is mostly a Caucasian male dominated field but one woman is opening doors and breaking grounds in race disparity when it comes to STEM research. Twenty eight old Maci Peterson is a former Spelman student, who hopes to inspire other African-American women and men like herself, to enter the field and innovate it.

Maci Peterson is the mastermind and creater of On Second Thought which is an app that allows people to take back text messages. You know how you sometimes send a embarrasing text, maybe by mistake to a family member or maybe you changed your mind after you pushed the send button; well that's where Maci comes in and changed all that.

In an interview with Black Enterprise, Maci Peterson explained the mechanism of the app, its many features and even a program in it called "curfew," for people who had too much to drink and it prevents them from sending drunk and embarassing text messages.

"On Second Thought is very easy to use. After downloading the app from the Google Play Store, you go to the app’s settings, set On Second Thought as your default SMS app and determine the length of your “grace period”—up to 60 seconds. The “grace period” is the amount of time you have to swipe left and Ost (recall) a message after hitting “send.”

Another feature in development is “curfew.” It’s for those nights on the town when you know you might have a bit too much to drink. Just go to your On Second Thought settings, determine the time you’d like your “curfew” to start, and all messages you try to send after that time will be held until the next morning. Once the “curfew” expires, you can look back and see which messages you still want to send, and which ones you’re thankful didn’t go through."

The 28 year old genius is approaching her 5,000 user mark for the app and hopes it grows. Maci Peterson continues in her research in STEM and stated she is creating and developing more apps and even inventions which will enhance technology.

You go Maci! ASalute and Godspeed!

Lions Can Open Doors, Umm Why Are We Surprised?

Posted On: March 09, 2015

In a throwback video of a family's recent trip to South Africa, while taking pictures of a pack of lions, they discovered lions could open doors. The family was shocked and so was the writer who wrote the story about it. Animals are not dumb, they are not superior in intelligence like us but they are not stupid either. Animals have this connection with nature that we've somehow disconnected from due to technology, but that's another topic.

We believe in studying animals, it can give us a better understanding of our world, nature, and even creation. We've seen videos of dogs and other animals mourning the lost of another one. Have you ever wondered if animals feel emotional pain like we do? And how do they heal themselves? Emotional and physical pain are not the same.

With animals, some of them have certain powers, like owls ability to see through darkness without light, which is their night vision and their high sense of awareness. Or a spider who weaves its net and the material of the net is durable and sometimes better than the materials we create. In understanding those things, we discover knowledge.

But anyhow, check the video out.

Doctors Perform The First Ever Penile Transplant

Posted On: March 17, 2015

A surgical team of doctors from South Africa made history in medicine and research, when they performed the first ever penile transplant.

The operation took place a couple of months ago back in December of 2014. The recipient of the operation was given a large donation and was subject to the operation, because he endured a circumcision gone wrong. The circumcision was a rite to passage from boyhood to manhood but it was a botched job, which left him with less of an inch. The young man was distraught and he couldn't find anybody to help him fix his penis. Until a team of doctors decided they would help him and restore his penis.

After the young man passed a series of exams and tests, he was cleared for the surgery. The procedure was a nine hour process and doctors successfully gave the young man a new penis. According to BBC News, doctors expected the young man to fully recover later this year, sometimes around November but he recovered sooner than expected. Doctors reported the young man is able to urinate with no problem, he was able to perform his sexual duties with no problem and even experienced an orgasm. Doctors are thrilled about the surgery and stated it will help men across the world with penis issues.

In order to perform the surgery, doctors used the same protocols for facial reconstructive surgery, which involves connecting the nerves and blood vessels. The doctors who performed the surgery explained how the penile transplant was much harder than facial transplant, but with precision and diligence, they were able to administer the operation.

Colorado Using Profits From Marijuana Sales To Fund Schools

Posted On: March 18, 2015

Cannabis which is the medical term for marijuana is legal in the state of Colorado and they have made some nice profits from it.

Last year, Colorado earned $90 million dollars in revenues from the sale of marijuana, since it became legal in their state. The state is using some of those revenues and funding schools with it. They've implemented their funds through a grant program called BEST which means, Building Excellent Schools Today. With the grant, some of the tax revenues from marijuana profits have been used, about $16 million to help fund the schools in Colorado. Scott Newell is the director for the Education Department in Colorado and has been involved in the project. Newell is repsponsible for all funds that come in and has applied some to build more schools in Colorado. This will be the first year Scott Newell will allow grants from marijuana tax revenues, to be used towards funding for schools from: constructions, supplies, wage increase and benefits for teachers, scholarships for students to use for college and etc.

The BEST grant was established back in 2008 to find other alternatives of generating funds to finance schools. The grants did not just provide for public school districts in Colorado but it also helped special needs schools like: the Deaf and the Blind, charter schools, the board of education in Colorado and more. The funds that have been generated from BEST were used to build and renovate schools, to finance them in the operations of the schools, to try and keep Colorado's education the number one factor of importance.

2015 has started as a great year for BEST who incurred $108 millions dollars in total fundings from state, private sectors, investors, including $16 million in tax revenues from marijuana sale profits. BEST will be awarding the funds later this summer to school districts in Colorado and towards other school projects.

There's been an on-going debate about this, some liberals are against marijuana tax revenues being used to fund schools and others are for it. Those tax revenues could of been used to build jails and prison or finance them, but instead they are being used towards education. The sales of marijuana has grown the economy where it is legal at, if we can recall 2 Chainz did say legalizing marijuana would help the economy in his open forum discussion with Nancy Grace.

When they made marijuana legal, they banked nicely from it. In these states marijuana is legal at, it was illegal to sell dime bags and etc., in some cases people ended up in jail for selling marijuana. Did the people selling dime bags make $90 million dollars a year? No, but the government did, so you do the math. But most of all, if anybody is still selling dime bags, they need to get in on some of this marijuana pie from the government and open their own marijuana facility. Don't let Uncle Sam screw you, learn the system and play chess with it.

Who is Colorado's supplier? Because they are moving a lot of bricks. Things that make you go hmmm.
