Lookbook From Rihanna x Puma's Runway Show

New York City is the mecca when it comes to fashion, individuality and genre of styles. So it's no surprised that New York Fashion Week has become a global phenomenon drawing in crowds and tourist from all over the world.

Rihanna, who is no stranger when it comes to pursuing dreams with boldness, is branching out from utilizing the platform of the stage to elevate herself; and reach new heights. As the creative director for Puma, Riri uncovered the first collection for her line Fenty x Puma.

The Fenty x Puma fashion show opened with Lex Boling (pictured below in the middle) hitting the runway, followed by other top models in the game, such as: Taylor Hill, Imaan Hammam, Stella Maxwell and more.

Gigi Hadid was one of the headline models, along with her sister, Bella who showcased the bad gal's new collection.

Fenty's main theme color was black, accentuated in grey and white details. The line featured velour styled furs, sheer tops and dresses, bodysuits with cut-out paneling, crop tops, tracksuits and more. The models' hair were painted in white and accessorize with black lipstick.

The collection presented menswear as well, styled in puffer jackets, oversized fits in pants, sweatshirts; and more.

Rihanna's mother was there with other family members to support the Bajan beauty's achievements and success.

Naomi Campbell (pictured below), Chris Rock, Jeremy Scott, Wale and other stars were in attendance at the show to see Riri shine.

Fenty x Puma also featured shoes such as over the knee boots, custom couture styled shoes (pictured below) that Rihanna particpated in the blueprint of designing.

Also, fur backpacks.

Rihanna continues to role model how dreams have no limits and if you believe, you can soar beyond possibilities.

Pharrell Williams Links Up With BMX Nigel Sylvester and Joey Bada$$ for G-Star's '#NewYorkRaw'

Taking over the Big Apple, Pharrell Williams is accompanied by BMX pro, Nigel Sylvester and Joey Bada$$ to launch the opening of G-Star on Fifth Avenue. Going on an adventure in BMX bikes, the three musketeers hit the pavements of NYC and travel from Williamsburg to SoHo, enroute to the new G-Star store of 5th ave. While on their journey, Pharrell gives a detailed acoount about the trip, being one with the road, environment and the experience of the ride. 

Th visuals depict Pharrell, Nigel and Joey along with their bike entourage, doing BMX stunts, enjoying their day in the city, having fun; and living life. While fans waited, upon arrival, Pharrell, Slyvester and Joey Bada$$ greet them, take pictures and open the door to the new G-Star spot.

Nike Honors Kobe Bryant With 'Fade To Black' Collection

As a tribute and to honor Kobe Bryant's retirement from the NBA, Nike will be releasing a collection called 'Fade to Black.' It will hallmark Kobe's line of different sneakers from the Kobe 1 through Kobe XIHuarache 2k4,  the Mamba’s final NBA shoe and more. 

The Fade to Black collection is similiar to Nike's Prelude and its release date is pending somewhere between next month and April.

Puma Collaborates with Fashion Icon, Karl Lagerfeld to Celebrate Its 50th Brand Anniversary Collection

In celebration of its brand 50th anniversary, Puma collaborated with fashion icon, Karl Lagerfeld for a signature capsule collection.

The collection features two pair of kicks, inspired by Lagerfeld keen and sharp style of dressing. One of the Puma kicks is detailed and referenced in Karl Lagerfeld's huge black sunglasses, directly paneled on top of the sneaker's laces. The shoe has a white colorway and black Puma branding. The sunglasses are detachable.

The second pair is a white on white colorway, manufactured and donned with Karl Lagerfeld's distinguished black tuxedos.

Both of the kicks from Puma's anniversary collection is imprinted with Lagerfeld's silhouette on the insole and heel.

Gentlemen Files: Odilon Nappa Shoes

Cleveland Cavaliers' Championship Collection & Collectibles Released by NBA for Sale

To franchise on the Cleveland Cavaliers' win, the NBA released the collection of the championship, along with collectibles for sale.  

You can own a piece of history by acquiring the Cavs 2016 Adidas locker room tee shirt and flex hat that was the players displayed during their win. The tee is a heather grey with the graphic designs of the Larry O'Brien Trophy printed on it in gold and red lining. The hat is the championship hat LeBron James wore when he gave his victory speech. Engrossed with the wording 2016 NBA Champs in different font sizes in white and outlined with the Cavaliers trademark symbol (pictured below). 

The tee shirts, including sweatshirt hoodies range in colors from light grey black, burgundy red, navy and etc for men women and children. As well as the hat that comes in heather grey and burgundy. The collection of apparel are in different designs from v-neck, crew-neck, tank tops, long sleeves and etc. Cavaliers' Championship collection contain of other products such as: keychains, towels, watches, different sized and patterned banners, cups, mugs, phone cases, signed framed posters (pictured below) and etc.

Teyana Taylor Will Become The First Woman to Collab With Reebok in Designing Iverson Sneakers

Teyana Taylor as a woman can rock some heels and add rhythm to her hips. She can also switch it up with a pair of sneakers and keep the tempo of her sexiness. The cadence of her atitude.

Taylor has a love for sneakers which landed her a business collaboration with Adidas in 2013 and with Packer Shoes in 2015. As a business woman, Teyana inked her third joint venture deal with Reebok which will create a legacy for her, as well as paved the way for others. Taylor will become the first women to collab and design the former NBA basketball player Allen iverson's signature sneakers, the 'Question Mid.'

The first Iverson sneakers' collection will be in red, scheduled to be release in October and will be part of 20th anniversary celebration of the styled shoe. Taylor uploaded a preview of it below. 


About two weeks ago, Teyana Taylor posted a picture giving some clues of her new business endeavors with Reebok at their headquarters. She was wearing a classic white and blue pair of the Question Mid.

John Wall Hustles Sneakers from His Personal Wardrobe Collection to Fund Charity

In an effort to raise funds for his John Wall Family Foundation, Washington Wizards point guard, John Wall is selling sneakers to his fans and the public, from his own perosnal collection.

John Wall collaborated with an online consignment boutique to showcase and sell the sneakers to consumers. He is also hustling apparel and accessories from his own personal wardrobe. 

The revenues generated from the sales will go to his John Wall's non-profit organization to assist at-risk and disadvantaged youth, in providing services such as: education, shelter and etc.

Gucci's 'Ace' Embroidery Collection Sneakers for Autumn 2016

Gucci pre-released their latest 2016 Autumn shoe collection called 'Ace,' which displays craftmanship in embroidery. The Ace sneaker collection are constructed in white and black leather and Gucci's signature fabric print. They come in various styles and designs. Some are detailed with spikes, pearls and Gucci's different color flags. 

Of course, the main features on Gucci's newest line of Ace sneakers are the tapestry of decorative and sleek embroidery.

Some of the sneakers are adorned with gold, has a hardcore biker motivated appeal to them and trimmed in silver, to give it a beaming effect. 


Gucci's Ace collection (which can be viewed below) are already on the market for women and men, they come in sizes 4-12 and priced at $535 and up.

Men Only Nail Bar 'Hammer & Nails' In California Will Be Franchising Nationwide

Michael Elliot is a former screenwriter who inked classic movies such as: Brown Sugar and Just Wright, in 2013 Elliot had another calling and became a businessman in the nail industry.

It all started when Michael Elliot went into a nail salon to get a pedicure and the experience was uncomfortable due to the salon of course, being filled with women and Elliot stating he felt out of place. So, he decided to open a nail only men bar to offer services such as: pedicure, manicure and etc., in an environment men would be comfortable at and resonate to. Elliot founded the first and perhaps in the world, men nail bar called "Hammer & Nails."

In an exclusive interview with NBC News, Michael Elliot spoke about his vision for the nail bar, the kind of items and materials he used to design it and the services Hammer & Nails offers.

"It started with a 17-foot 'auto' sign that I found in a vintage store. I looked at it and said, "I need to create a place where this sign feels at home." With that, I began to create my vision. All of our nail techs are females. There are no manicure tables and no spa chairs. The lighting is low, there's soft music playing, extra wide leather chairs and you've got your own personal TV and your own personal remote control and Beats by Dre headphones [to put on]."

Hammer & Nails sounds like a place men can watch football or a basketball game, while their feet are being rubbed and catered to. (Treat yourself!)

As the interview proceeded, Elliot elaborated about the importance of men taking care of themselves, nail health and rountine pedicures.

"Many guys, quite frankly, are embarrassed by their feet. Most men were never taught to take care of their feet; it's just a part of the body that they don't pay attention to. So they don't understand things like fungus or how to prevent ingrown toenails."

Due to the success of Hammer & Nails and high demands of nail bars for men, Michael Elliot will be expanding his business and franchising nationwide, as well as across borders into other countries.

"It's all about growing the brand. We're taking applications for franchise opportunities now. So far we've had interest from all over the country and the globe, really: San Antonio, Chicago, Miami, New York City and Atlanta. We've even had interest from as far away as India, Austria, Berlin, Mexico and Uruguay."

With the expanse of Hammer & Nails, Elliot is looking forward to providing a haven for men to get pampered and maintain a healthy regimen of self care.

"Our goal is to award five (licenses) in the first year. We're really optimistic that the new locations will be a success, because once they open up [they're] going to be the 'go-to' place in that city. Let's face it, as a guy do you want to go to the corner [nail] spot or the man-cave nirvana? You're going to pick Hammer & Nails."

Brujas Releases "Each One, Teach One" Autumn Collection

Fashion with purpose is what the brand "Brujas" is all about. Releasing their Fall 2017 collection titled, "Each One, Teach One," the collection was inspired by the Mississippi Freedom Schools of the Civil Rights Movement.

Brujas are a freedom organization consisting of a collective featuring healers, musicians, community organizers, hustlers, skaters; and etc. Being active in their communities, Brujas took residency at the New York art gallery, in an effort to bring awareness about their cause.

The apparel for Brujas' Each One, Teach One, Autumn collection also dubs inspiration from Catholic school uniforms, its founders Arianna Gill and Sheyla Grullon wore to school in Manhattan. The collection is compiled of skating and work gear essentials from polo shirts, trousers, sweatpants; and hoodies. 

The lookbook for Brujas Fall 2017 collection was photographed by Robin Giordani, who captured the organization's mission to create a new world one hoodie at a time.
