Classic Throwback: Vado - 'Liverwire Diss'

Posted On: April 30, 2015

In reviewing some freestyles last night, we came across a classic one from Vado.

The footage is a throwback of a younger Vado, who zones out in the beginning and gets into the art of freestyling. Vado is one of our top 5 storytellers in Hip Hop and he is also a versatile Hip Hop artist, who can blaze the mic with 16 bars off his dome. In this freestyle, Vado did just that and got animated with it too. In most interviews, Vado appears to be laid back and nonchalant, and those be the ones because in this video, Vado has a dragon that's been sleeping because of how he torched the beat in his freestyle.

There's a few freestyle kings, too much to narrow it in a top 5 but one thing for sure, New York Hip Hop artists got the throne now.

Check out the throwback footage below.

Can somebody wake this dragon back up? That energy Vado is bringing can move mountains!
