ESPN's 'First Take' Theme Song Remixed By Wale

Wale links with a full band to remix ESPN's 'First Take' theme song.

The MMG artist puts a Hip Hop touch and his own flavor to the original 'Every Word Great' by bringing some funk to it.

In the next video, Wale explains how the project came into play and the kind of vibe he is adding to the new theme song.

Highlights of 2015: JR Castro's Short Film Music Video - 'Get Home (Get Right)'

JR Castro has another calling in film productions, cinematography and acting, one has to wonder if he is listening to God because the visuals for his R&B banger, 'Get Home (Get Right)' was his vision. Castro recruited Mark Klasfeld and Timbaland to assist him with producing and directing the short film for his music video, which was released in the summer of 2015.

 

The visuals are inspired by the video game Grand Theft Auto (GTA) and takes viewers into first person mode of the character JR Castro is playing on the screen. The video is equipped with amplified sound effects, digital cinematography and creative special effects. It's action packed with several locations for the setting, a storyline, different characters and the roles they exhibit (for ex: JR's female goons). Although Castro is the main actor in the short film, he also worked behind the scenes in the direction of the video.

The DJ Mustard production song for the video features Quavo and Kid Ink who assist lyrically and with the hook. JR Castro stepped out the norm when it comes to music video, this was indeed different and unique, the visuals has a 3D vibe to it, movie credits rolled at the end of the video and it was well produced. It puts viewers into the shoes the character JR is playing and who knows what other visions he has because he was able to bring this one into fruition.

New Music Video: 50 Cent - 'I'm The Man'

In a new mini-movie premiered by G-Unit Films, 50 Cent takes viewers into a street tale called 'I'm The Man.'

 

The project was produced and directed by Eif Rivera and showcases the Sonny Digital production track off Fifty's recent mixtape "The Kanan Tape," which is inspired by his hit Starz television series, Power character. The visuals for the video depicts 50 Cent portrayed as a street hustler who's holding a meeting in the beginning about a drop. Fif is also the villain in this short film, a role that he has embodied throughout the years as an actor.

New Joint: Rockie Fresh - 'Down To Roll'

Preppin' his fans for the release of his upcoming tape "The Night I Went To," Rockie Fresh lets off another track called, 'Down To Roll.'

The heavily bass, drummed instrumentals was produced by SEVN Thomas and Zalezy. Rockie keeps it fresh on his new cut about his lack of trust in people due to where he's at in his life, his small circle and trying to maintain his patience.

Notable Wordplay: "Stop surfing the Net/ and get lost in this wave."

New Music Video: Pusha T feat. The Dream & A$AP Rocky - 'M.P.A."

For the start of the new year, Pusha T debuted the visuals for his controversial track, 'M.P.A' and kept the theme of the song with the video. The Dream and A$AP Rocky are featured on the track off his new album, "Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude."

The G.O.O.D (Getting Out Our Dreams) president paint a vivid lyrical story about different lifestyles from smokin' mirrors, video vixens, and etc. The rockstar lifestyle that comes with being a Hip Hop artist, male groupies and their lack of consideration for people's space.

Through it all, Pusha maintains and celebrates at the end of the video which was directed by Shomi Patwary.

New R&B Joint: Jacob Latimore - 'Climb'

Jacob Latimore showcased his R&B track 'Climb' a few days before 2016 to bring in the new year.

After his departure from his former record label RCA, the R&B crooner started his own self made music company. On the track, Latimore sings about rising in love, intimacy between the sheets that go on all night and soaring with the sun. Jacob is currently working on his upcoming album, which will be released in a couple of months.

New Mixtape: Busta Rhymes - 'Return of The Dragon'

For the holidays a couple of days back, Busta Rhymes released a new mixtape titled, 'Return of The Dragon: The Abstract Went On Vacation."

The tape includes 17 tracks with features from: Fabolous, Jadakiss, Styles P, R&B songstress Mary J. Blige, classic Hip Hop group: Leaders Of The New School and more. The project is a sequel from "The Abstract & The Dragon," Busta's collaborated joint with Q-Tip.

The tape was released on several music platforms and can be downloaded at Datpiff.
