New Freestyle: XXL Freshmen Class - Kodak Black & Denzel Curry

Posted On: June 22, 2016

Following the revelation of their 2016 Freshman Class, XXL's graduates take the mic and do lyrical exercises

The first lyricist to unleash his bars is Kodak Black

In an a cappella baritone, Kodak flows for the camera. Towards the end, he picks up his pace and finishes off his bars. Sounds a little muffled, hard to figure out some of the words but it's Kodak's lingo. Gucci Mane might understand what he's saying and his fans also.

Regardless, check out Kodak's freestyle below.

Next up is Denzel Curry. With a consistent flow, Curry brings the spice and seasons his bars from spittin' rhymes about friendship, self acceptance and self love with women and who is as a spitta.

Tory Lanez brings the Caribbean vibes in a new reggae joint titled, 'Luv' and it's just right for this Sunday (June 12th) evening/night.

Caribbean music whether it's reggae, kompa, soca and etc, it's just something about it that is very powerful. Maybe because of the spiritual elements of Caribbean people. Their music is very soul touching.

But anyhow, back to Tory Lanez. with this new Luv song, he doing it up for the ladies. The track is produced by Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat, and the instrumentals samples Tanto Metro and Devonte's 1999 hit, 'Everyone Falls In Love.' It has a reggae mix to it of course and sound digital effects.

The song has some R&B dancehall feel to it also.
