2018 BET Hip Hop Awards: Winners, Speeches, Tributes & Honors

The 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards showcased performers and winners. As well as, honors and tributes.

The first award of the show for "Album of The Year" went to The Carters for "ApeSh*t." Kendrick Lamar won "Lyricst of The Year," Childish Gambino received an award for "This Is America" in the "Best Hip Hop Video" category, "Hustler of the Year" went to Cardi B; and more awards were bestowed. 

XXXTentacion who was there in spirit, received an award for "Best New Hip Hop Artist." The award was presented and accepted by his mother.

DJ Khaled won for "DJ of The Year" and during his acceptance speech, Khaled praised God and thanked his family. He also expressed, his gratitude towards his day ones (the people who believed in him) and spoke about the importance of supporting Hip Hop and its culture. Mac Miller was tributed as a legend. Anderson .Paak spoke about his influence on Hip Hop, the genius of his music and the legacy he left behind.

Lil Wayne was honored with the "I Am Hip Hop" award. Several musicians graced the screen at the 2018 BET Hip Hop and reflected about the contributions he made to Hip Hop and his longevity in the game.
