How Can You Deny A Truth That Is Written in Stones?..

Posted On: December 22, 2014

How can you deny a truth that is written in stones? A truth you can not even understand nor relate to, but one you seek to hide from those who reflect its essence.

Is it the fear of being overcomed or maybe it is the jealousy of a legacy you wish to own. Why does it drive you to hate? The face of the stones you steal from, but yet destroy the wind of truth from its nose. How much longer do you think you can keep the truth enslaved? When its ancestors once ruled the earth.

You can try to deceive the truth, reconstruct its face, throw white paint to hide its colors, and lie to the world.. But the same sun that rises in the morning and sets in the evening, is the very light that will set the truth free.

Talent is Nothing Without Hardwork

Posted On: December 17, 2014

If you have a God given talent, it is a must you apply hard work to it. Because that talent will not work itself, unless you do. It's just like one of the verses in the Bible which speaks about faith and how applying work towards that faith, gives it the power to manifest. And without the work, that faith basically dies. Well, it's the same thing with talents. Just because God gave you this talent or a particular skill, does not mean it will automatically bring your goals and dreams to life.

It's the work that you apply that manifests those things. Your talent is a key, a hammer, a brick; it's a resource to build off. Like a key will not open a door by itself, unless a person puts the key inside the keyhole and turns the knob. A hammer will not nail anything in, unless a person hammers it in. A brick does not construct a building by itself, unless a person applies those bricks to build.

Hard work is necessary, it requires sacrifices. Some might sacrifice sleep, some might be caught up in their work that they'll go a whole day without eating, some might sacrifice their time and etc. Sacrifice develops the determined will to succeed. Apply that with hard work and boom! You are liable to blow.

Hard work always pays off, it's an incentive with a priceless reward.

Do You Know Your History? Not His Story But Yours

"Slavery is not African American history. It interupted African (Black) History."

---- Author Unknown

If a child learns of his ancestral lineage of kings and queens, the child will embrace it and know that he is also a king. But if a child is taught that all his ancestors were was slaves, then the child will enslave his greatness instead of embracing it, because of the lack of knowledge.

Graphic Images: Men Resists Arrest, Attacks Police Officers & No Chokeholds or Guns Pulled Out

Posted On: December 10, 2014

In this video, police officers try to apprehend a very disturbed man. The man is naked and all over the place. Police try their best to take him down but the man is combative and attacks the police officers, he even chin kicks one of them and; resists arrest. The police officers also, used a taser to try and subdue the man. Hmmm, things that make you raise an eyebrow because of the man being naked and how that could burn or cause some bruising to his skin.

During the whole incident, none of the police officers attempts to put the man in a chokehold nor pull out a gun or even a baton.

Some might look at this video and see the double standard when it comes to racial lines and how police departments handle things different because of it. Here you have a naked man who happens to be White, resisting arrest and very assaultive towards the police officers, who are trying to apprehend him. The police officers use several alternatives to subdue the man. In the case of Eric Garner, he did not resist arrest, he was violently taken down with a chokehold and even after, he said he could not breathe 11 times, the NYPD officers involved in the case never took that into consideration nor provided space for him to breathe better. For them to not get indicted, was an unjustifiable act by the grand jury.

Not holding police officers responsible for negligence and even faults, does not help them in their productivity, as well as effectiveness. How can they learn to be better police officers if they are not held accountable for acts of: police brutality, using excessive force, violating civilians' human rights and etc.

Throwback Live Poetry Reading About Police Brutality & Racial Profiling

Posted On: December 09, 2014

Should little Black boys be afraid? No.

In a live poetry reading by 'Button Poetry,' Javon Johnson performed a poetic art piece titled, "Cuz He's Black."

In his poetic reading, Javon Johnson expresses an experience with his nephew, who was scared when he heard police sirens. Not because of danger near by, but fearing the police who are suppose to protect him from the danger.

Johnson also stated, how Black boys learn that their color is a problem and because of it, they will be profiled and targeted against.

Hmmm, how do we change that? And make Black boys feel safe, secure, also to teach them how to love, honor and accept themselves against all odds.

How did police brutality become an epidemic for Black men's survival? Do Black men have a common enemy out there? And what is the foundation of that racist structure, which needs to be torn down.

Racism is evil. It can also be diagnose as a behavioral disorder. If people can learn to hate, they can also learn to love. How can you hate people based on color, when we live in a colorful world? Look at the many colors in a butterfly's wings, an evening sunset painted in blue, yellow and orange, the different color of roses that make them unique but yet beautiful as a whole. We even create in colors. So how can you teach hatred towards color?
